Terms

Terms of Service

Clear, simple terms for using QCam. The app is fully local, so you own your data.

1. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable license to use the QCam iOS app on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

2. Your Content & Cloud Storage Backups

QCam is a local-only utility. We do not store, access, view, or transmit any video, audio, text scripts, or images you capture or import. You own all of your content, and you are solely responsible for where you export, share, or store it.

If you choose to use the optional cloud storage backup features, you acknowledge that your video backups are stored directly in your personal Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive account and are subject to Google's or Microsoft's respective Terms of Service and storage limits. We are not responsible for any data loss, transmission errors, or storage policies enforced by Google or Microsoft.

3. Intellectual Property

All app code, assets, branding, and designs (including the 'QCam' mark and logo) are the exclusive property of QCam and its licensors. You agree not to copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

QCam is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any lost recordings, corrupted files, hardware performance issues, or direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the app.

5. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle permissions and data. By using QCam, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of the developer, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The latest version will always be posted on this page.

8. Purchases & Refunds

QCam Pro is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, and Pro unlocks the same features however you buy it.

QCam Pro is available as an in-app purchase through Apple's App Store. App Store purchases are made with Apple and are refunded by Apple, not by us — request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Purchases made on qcam.studio are sold by Lumiroad Technology Inc. (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) and processed by Stripe; the charge appears on your statement as QCAM.STUDIO. If such a purchase isn't right for you, email support@qcam.studio within 14 days and we will refund you in full — no questions asked. Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
