Straighten a crooked shot

Rotation in QCam is continuous, not quarter turns. Twist on the preview, read the degrees live, and land on level with a gentle snap.

  1. Twist on the preview

Two fingers, a small twist, and the clip rotates by exact degrees while you watch. A degree readout rides on the Rotate tool as you turn. Like every gesture in the editing room, rotation belongs to the clip under the playhead.

  2. See what crooked costs

We tilt the shot a few degrees on purpose here, and suddenly the shelves lean and the room feels off. That is how a tripod bumped mid-shoot reads on camera. Now you know the problem this tool exists for.

  3. Land on level

Twist back slowly and watch the horizon settle. At zero degrees a gentle detent catches you, so you land level without hunting for it. Play it back: straight, like it was shot on rails.

Quarter turns and flipped takes have their own one-tap tools on the toolbar: **Rotate** and **Mirror**.

Twist on the preview

A crooked take is not a re-shoot, it is a two-finger fix. Twist, read the degrees, let the detent catch level, and move on.
