Dial in your color

Beyond one-tap looks there is a real color panel: seven sliders, applied live, owned by a single clip, with Apply to All when the whole take should match.

  1. Find the color panel

Swipe the toolbar to its second page and tap Adjust. Seven adjustments line up: Exposure, Contrast, Saturation, Temperature, Tint, Highlights, Shadows. Tap one and its slider appears, working on the preview live. If you plan to grade sections differently, Split the take first so each half is its own clip.

On Log clips the look row adds an Intensity slider too, so the LUT itself can be dialed back.

  2. Shape one clip

Sliders belong to the clip under the playhead. Push Exposure hard, watch the image follow, then settle on a value you like; warm it a touch with Temperature. Now play across the cut: the grade falls away exactly at the seam, because the second clip never heard about it. Color in QCam is truly per clip.

Overshoot on purpose, then walk it back. It is the fastest way to find the value your eye actually wants.

  3. Match the whole take

Park the playhead back inside the graded clip and tap Apply to All. Every clip in the take inherits the same grade, and the jump at the cut disappears. Play it through: one consistent look, built in seconds.

Apply to All copies the grade of the clip you are standing on, so stand on the right one first.

Looks get you close, sliders get you exact. Grade one clip, prove it at the cut, then Apply to All when the take should speak with one voice. Undo walks every move back, and the original stays untouched.
