iPhone Duo: the camera fits the inner display however you hold or fold it
On iPhone Duo's inner display, QCam lays out the camera for how you hold it: wide, half-folded like a laptop, or folded like a camcorder. Plus upright controls in right-to-left languages.
New
- Held wide, the picture sits in the middle with the controls beside it, and settings cards open at the centre of their column.Devices: iPhone Duo
- Half-folded like a laptop, the picture stays above the fold and every control, the teleprompter's buttons included, sits below it.Devices: iPhone Duo
- Folded like a camcorder, the camera uses the half beside the tab bar and the other half stays dark.Devices: iPhone Duo
Improved
- The voice-following teleprompter holds its place better when your script repeats a phrase a few lines down, so it is less likely to jump ahead, especially with large text.
Fixed
- In Arabic and other right-to-left languages, the camera controls read upright when you hold your iPhone sideways, in the same order as in English. The teleprompter keeps your reading direction.
- With Record depth on, switching lenses mid-take no longer loses the recording; that take saves without depth.
